Christian Ritual Abuse can happen in any Christian denomination, in any country, and in any social class.

There are documented cases of Christian Ritual Abuse across many denominations.  These include high-profile cases such as the deaths of Khyra Ishaq and Victoria Climbie, widespread abuse in the catholic church and the charges made against Tony Alamo, and also thousands of lesser-known cases of people who have abused in the name of Christianity.  In addition to these documented cases there are many more instances of abuse that have either gone unreported or have not made it to court through lack of evidence.

If you are a survivor of Christian Ritual Abuse, be it in the home, as a cult member, or as part of a church; be it in the form of biblically excused violence, sexual abuse, exorcism or forced marriage; we are here to help you.  On our website you will find information on legal proceedings, advice on fitting into society after leaving an abusive group, and help with healing.

If you are supporting a survivor, or just want to learn more about Christian Ritual Abuse or the effects of damaging cults and churches, you are welcome here too.  However, the private forums are for survivors only.

This site is a work in progress.  We are always open to suggestions on how to improve it, so if you have any ideas or would like to write an article for us, please contact us.  We are seeking in particular articles on recovery/re-integration from people outside of the UK.
